PeriOptix™ Introducing Solaris™ portable dental headlight system at the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting February 26 - March 1

San Clemente, CA - February 12, 2009 - PeriOptix, Inc., one of the nation's leading providers of high quality magnification and illumination systems for medical and dental professionals, is exhibiting at the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Dental Meeting on February 26th - March 1st in Chicago, IL. PeriOptix will be located at the McCormick Place Lakeside Center in Booth #1853. PeriOptix will be conducting product demonstrations of its magnification and illumination systems to dentists and hygienists. The company will be showcasing its new Solaris™ portable headlight system, the revolutionary Hogies™ modular loupe system and other new sports frame designs for dental and surgical loupes. Booth attendees will have the ability to utilize PeriOptix dental loupes and headlights in a simulated dental operatory. This unique opportunity gives prospective customers the ability to try various magnification levels and working distances that best suites their needs.
Solaris on Hogies Frame

PeriOptix latest product is the new Solaris portable led headlight. This is a fully portable lighting system that is worn by the user either on a headband or directly mounted to their dental loupes. It features two Lithium Ion batteries that provide up to 5 hours of constant illumination between charges. The Solaris uses the most advanced LED (light emitting diode) that will virtually never need replacing and delivers an amazing 80,000 lux of light. Portable dental headlights are among the fastest growing dental product segment. Portable headlights allow dentists the freedom to move from operatory to operatory without being tethered to older style fiberoptic light sources.
