Optilock™ Technology
All PeriOptix flip up loupes incorporate its patented Optilock™ technology that prevent your loupes from moving out of alignment like other brands. Once you set your interpupillary setting (distance between your pupils) your optics are automatically locked in place. And, they will remain in the same place regardless of how many times you flip them up and down.
Your preset convergence angle ("toe in" of optics barrels which is set to your working distance) are locked in place at two pivot points each—another patented feature. Other loupes use only a single tightening screw which frequently loosens causing misalignment and eyestrain.
The bottom line: our Optilock technology quickly and easily locks into your individual setting so your scopes are always perfectly aligned.
