Choosing the Right Loupe
Choosing the perfect loupe for you has never been easier. Just follow these 3 easy steps for a perfect match.
Step 1: Choose your magnification. If you haven't owned loupes before, start with the lowest power you need. Most start with a 2.5x. Remember, as the magnification increases, the field of view, focal range and light transmission decreases.

Step 2: Choose your working distance. All loupes are preset to focus at certain distance and objects will remain in focus within a range of about 4 or 5 inches around that point. PeriOptix loupes come in 4 working distances: Short (10-13") Regular (12-15") Long (14-17") and Extra Long (15-20").
Step 3: Choose your frame style. PeriOptix offers a wide variety of frame styles and colors to suit your budget from our top of the line Hogies to the newest Rimz sport frame. All are lightweight comfortable and come with a 30 day trial period and unmatched warranty. Prescription lenses can be added to the Hogies and Ultralight Titanium frames.

Hogies offers 3 choices for prescription lens wearers.
1. Many users wear Hogies directly over their existing eyeglass frames. Depending upon the size of your eyewear, Hogies can be worn with or without the supplied safety shield.
2. Prescription lenses can be placed into the Hogies RX model. Many opticians will be able to put your custom lenses into the one-piece aluminum frame. If needed, please contact PeriOptix for labs who can provide this service for you. Be sure to specify the RX model when ordering.
3. The new prescription insert can be added to your Hogies frame system. Magnetic attachment with integrated nosepad can be quickly and easily attached and removed. This is a perfect accessory for those who wear contacts and want the option of prescription lenses.
